Janis Joplin - Little Girl Blue (This is Tom Jones, 1969)
Posted by: RhinoAnnon
Video duration: 223 seconds
Global video hits: 907835
Queen Janis sings an amazing version of this song, way back in 1969. I put this video up because it's rarely shown elsewhere, it's such a vulnerable performance and unlike anything else she ever recorded. Enjoy.

Steve Vai is way over-rated and, well kinda boring and mechanical actually. That's my opinion.

By: 6project6nightmare6. on 10 Mar 10, 22:08:13
one thing to add to that Vai shreds a small neck guitar with Gauge 8 strings. BB shreds the blues with a hollow body bassball bat neck guitar with Gauge 13s most likely. nuff said

@romanriquelme1 Wow dude you don't speak English very well do you? Or understand music. Steve is good but hes no BB King. There's more out there musically then fast guitar playing. Even that considered theres still better. IE Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani Ect. . .
By: raskamas. on 10 Mar 10, 20:07:57
Hey romanriquelme1! BB was kicking ass even before Steve was born and probably tapping your mama even before YOU were born~
By: raskamas. on 10 Mar 10, 19:59:25
Enough said! Real musicians will appreciate this type of real music. Why do we have to argue with mentally 6 year olds who plays music so they get into girls' panties...

you cant possibly compare Steve Vai to B.B King did Steve Vai influence B.B? no did B.B influence Steve Vai? yes i need to say 2 more words to prove my point. bending and vibrato dont get me wrong becuz i love steve vai also and he is the only "virtuoso" guitarist that i listen to cuz he somewhat plays with feeling unlike joe satriani and eric johnson its just that this man created the whole music scene by himself.

I've never actually heard of BB King - I'm way out of touch with the music industry - but this is some deliciously smooth blues. The kind that drags you along in its thick, syrupy river of sound. Very, very nice.

was lucky enough to see the legend in action in Manchester last year. I'll never forget it
